No! As long as enough time is booked for me to service your pets I do not mind extra babies in the house! Please just disclose all pets and let me have a meet and greet with animals that may be temperamental.
No. Phone calls are for emergencies only!! This policy lets me know when there is an actual emergency happening. If anyone could call me it would be difficult to figure out what calls are emergencies.I also can not be calling clients while working with pets as that may come off unprofessional to owners, using their time they paid for to talk to other clients.I understand we think that phone calls are easier, but letting me have a paper trail of changes to pet care or any overall direction can be great to have so we can look back and refer to what was said.
Unfortunately not, I have two cats in my house that experience medical complications when stressed so it is not worth the risk. I also do not think it is fair for clients to book my time and to not get my full undivided attention.
I typically do not see animals for more then an hour at a time. These prices are significantly reduced, but may be higher then other pet sitters prices as this is a non typical service that I do not offer for every client.Reserving extra time means that that time is reserved for your pet, and I can not take on other animals. The extension of each 30 minutes being $5 makes it accessible for clients but also reasonable for me to extend your services.
Most animals thrive on less time that a stranger is in their home. More times then not, animals become temperamental due to stress with guests in their house, especially when their owners are on vacation.Due to high stress levels, some animals become territorial and agitated with guests in their home, even if that does not seem like their typical personality. For safety reasons and your pet's comfort, once tasks are completed, it is typically best that I leave.I like to have my entire attention on an animal during a visit.By extending time, animals may become uninterested me. While that is fine in itself, I do not want to feel like I am being paid for sitting on the couch not interacting with your pets, as that feels wrong to me.
